6-10 x 8-20’         San Diego Mountain Mahogany has smooth deep green leaves that are ½ serrate (toothed) and strongly veined. The new leaf growth is a sparkling emerald green. Small yellowish flowers appear in spring and are then followed by stunning feather-like white projections (styles). Native Americans used the very hard wood for digging sticks.
